Under direct supervision, using standard processes and continuous improvements, the assembler assembles couplings in a timely an efficient manner that meet the quality standards to ensure the delivery of world-class products to Tyler Coupling customers. All Team Members will be trained on various manufacturing processes.
The electrical engineering / controls intern will be assisting with the development of the future direction of the controls and PLC creation for the location. This includes design and development of electrical cabinets, creating and updating the ladder logic used in the PLCs, defining the software levels for the logic and communication interface, and managing and troubleshooting the current machines through PLC interface. Includes both Allen Bradley and Seimens PLCs and associated software.
The engineering management intern will be assisting with the completion of a project (or projects) as determined by the management team. This includes data collection and review, creation of corrective action plans, using project life cycle tools to track project progress, scheduling and assisting with project gate reviews, and using other lean techniques to enhance the business OEE.
